What To Expect

Located to the South West from Hanoi, Mai Chau is a charming and fertile valley with spectacular mountainous landscape. Along the way, you will have chance to contemplate the beauty of northwest mountains that terraced fields are sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. You can also see house-on-stilts villages of the White Thai Ethnic group that is well- known for their hospitality and friendliness. Further off roads, here and there you will also find isolated H’Mong communities on mountain sides. The most interesting thing might be trekking around valley delightful trails, fields and villages. Itinerary:

Day 1: Ha Noi - Mai Chau Valley (L/D)

07.30 – 08.00: Pick-up at hotel then depart for Mai Chau

12.00: Arrive at Mai Chau then enjoy traditional lunch in local village (vegetarian available)

14.00: Ride with our guide to see farmers working in fields, locals weaving scarves and visit surrounding peaceful villages.

16.30: Free time for walking, shopping in the town

18.00: Join in an outdoor BBQ party and watch the Thai’s traditional dance and drink the traditional wine “ruou can”

Overnight at the communal stilt house

Day 2: Mai Chau Valley - Ha Noi (B/L)

05.00: Get up early to enjoy a sunrise view then have breakfast.

08.00: Visit Na Meo and Na Mo villages, typical traditional Vietnamese village, to learn about their culture and custom.

12.00: Come back to mountain village for have lunch and check out. 13.00: Free time for shopping and relaxing.

15.30: Getting on the car, returning to Hanoi.

19.00: Arrive in Hanoi
