Visit Duong Lam Ancient Village – Private Tour

Duong Lam is an ancient village in Son Tay, Hanoi. It is the first-recognized ancient village in Vietnam. The ancient village has a history of about 1,200 years with many houses dating back up to 400 years. Duong Lam is also the homeland of two kings in Vietnam history – Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung – who led resistance wars against northern invasion. Coming here you have chances not only to visit historical vestiges but also to learn more about life of people in this village. You will meet friendly people and have lunch with them before coming back to Hanoi.
At 8:30 am, we pick you up at your hotel and depart to Duong Lam Ancient Village, which is far about 45 km from Hanoi. When we arrive, we start by visiting Mong Phu temple, some ancient houses and then enjoy local products such as rice wine and rice cakes. After that, you get a bicycle and ride along countryside road. The fresh air here will make you feel relax and peaceful. We continue visit some historical vestiges such as Giang Van Minh Worship House, Temples of King Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung – two famous kings in Vietnam history. Cycling uphill, you will see a natural holy well which stores clear water all the year round.
At 12:30pm, you have lunch with a local family and then get ready to return to Hanoi. At about 3:30pm, we drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi. End trip.
